• Information you submit. When you post a review or send a scam report, we collect what you provide — such as a display name, rating, your message, and, optionally, your email address if you choose to share it.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
• Cookies. We use a single essential cookie only for site administrators to stay signed in to the admin area. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use information

We use the information to operate and improve the site, to moderate and publish reviews and scam reports, to respond to you if you've asked us to, and to protect the site against fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the site — including our hosting and database provider (Cloudflare) and our email-delivery provider (Resend) for administrative notifications. They process data only as needed to provide their services.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to suppliers are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the merchant may set its own cookies and may share limited information with us about whether a referral occurred. This never influences our rankings. See our methodology and terms for details.

Sharing and disclosure

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public. Reviews and scam reports are published only after moderation, and we remove personal contact details before publishing.

Data retention

We keep submissions and reports for as long as they remain useful for the site's purpose, and technical logs for a limited period. You can ask us to delete information you've submitted.

Your choices

Under Canadian privacy law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you've provided to us. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above when we do.
