About & Methodology
PeptideScams is an independent resource that ranks peptide suppliers and summarizes the research behind common peptides, so buyers can make informed decisions and steer clear of scams.
How suppliers are scored
Each supplier receives a 0–10 reliability score and a tier, weighed across these factors:
- Certificate of Analysis (COA) transparency — whether per-batch COAs are publicly available, on request, or absent.
- Third-party lab testing — independent HPLC/MS verification versus in-house or unverified claims.
- Community reputation — presence and sentiment across specialist forums and review platforms.
- Operational transparency — clear research-use policies, sourcing, and track record.
Tiers
Elite, Very Good, Good Technique, Regular, Buy With Caution, and Critical Alert — from most to least trustworthy. A Critical Alert flags suppliers with no verifiable testing, scam reports, or other serious red flags.
Peptide information
Each peptide page carries an evidence grade (A–C) reflecting the strength of the underlying research, a plain-English summary, dosing notes drawn from public sources, community sentiment, and direct links to the primary literature so you can verify claims yourself.
